The Details

The Job

Customer satisfaction and quality are always our primary objectives at Gunwerks. It is the job of the Paint Supervisor to oversee that all cerakote and paint orders meet the high standards of a Gunwerks' product which requires attention to detail and thoroughness in following our documented quality processes and best practices to achieve a perfect finish. 


The Person

The Paint Supervisor is a leader who works alongside your team and provides positive direction for success. You will be a hands-on supervisor who trains new staff, oversees the daily workflow of the department, provides constructive feedback, keeps a clean shop, maintains work centers, and let's not forget...paints.

Learn and follow all work instructions and material handling procedures, manage your team, and keep up with our fast-paced environment.

Must Have

  • Leadership qualities to train new staff, oversee daily workflow, provide constructive feedback, and any other managerial duties needed
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment

Nice to Have   

  • An understanding of work instructions and the ability to follow them without variance
  • Four years of painting experience
  • Course completion with degree or certificate covering, but not limited to :
    -Surface prep and masking
    -Detailing
    -Spray gun operation
    -Paint mixing and spraying
    -Color matching and blending
