The Job

The job of the Paint Technician is meticulous. You will follow work instructions and material handling procedures without skipping any steps as the product you create must meet the highest standards for our customers. The metal and stock finishes you will be completing are the visual portions of our rifle systems, so your work is seen by all!

You follow processes and directions without missing any steps in order to achieve perfection for each product you finish. The Details

What you will be doing

  •  Follow inventory management guidelines to maintain appropriate amounts of inventory
  • The following duties apply to both the Metal Components Preparation and Paint Application and to the Composite Stock Preparation and Paint Application:
    -Follow documented work instructions
    -Use Odoo (ERP System) to organize and pull correct components from inventory locations
    -Inspect all materials before and after material prep
    -Properly apply Cerakote to metal parts /Properly apply paint within established guidelines to stocks
    -Inspect after the painting process to ensure the product meets the established guidelines
  • Keep all equipment in excellent working condition
  • Daily maintenance required to keep work area clean and free of defects and clutter

Must haves

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills
  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Initiative to be self-motivated yet be able to work with others
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced, and at times, stressful environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in a similar field
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift and manipulate all required materials
