The Job
The Quality CMM Technician supports the Quality Department through incoming and first-article CMM part programming/fixturing inspection, troubleshooting and diagnostics of parts and components, and correspondence with the engineering team and vendors.
The Person
You need to have CMM experience for this position. Machine shop experience, Quality Control experience, and/or two-year related experience are important as well. You need to be self-motivated, have attention to detail and effective time management, as well as provide consistent throughput in order to be successful.

Your duties and responsibilities
CMM Programming/Fixturing
Utilizing Verisurf software
Creating/Maintaining part plan/paths
Creating/Collaborating on part fixtures
Optimizing fixture and part efficiency
Quality Control
Incoming inspection of outsourced products
Inspect and document first article parts
Document part observations and nonconformances
Communicate with shop crew, vendors and engineers
Secondary Functions
Assist with troubleshooting part and product nonconformances
Maintain calibrated gages and measuring equipment
Assist with material flow and kanban functions
